Who was “Lama Katok Rinpoche”, a Karma Kagyu lama associated with Samye and possibly with Gonjo in eastern Kham?

 

I’m having difficulty identifying a “Lama Katok Rinpoche”. He was not Nyingma, but Karma Kagyu, and may have been associated with Gonjo in Kham. He was involved in rebuilding the four coloured stupas at the corners of the temple at Samye, which should be a clue to anyone in the know!
